Author of Gift of the Forgotten God and Hop to Conclusions
Dale Adam spent nearly twenty years as a civilian contractor supporting U.S. Government programs, starting with the MRAP program in Charleston and including a decade overseas in Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Bahrain. The work mattered. The cost was time: ten years of bedtimes and birthdays happening an ocean away from his three kids.
So he came home to South Carolina and started writing down the stories he owed them.
His debut novel, Gift of the Forgotten God, is a YA fantasy whose hero and twin gods carry his children's names. His picture book, Hop to Conclusions, stars a small brown bunny named Corah, after his daughter. Through his company, Three Halos LLC, named for his three angels, he also publishes the Pigment and Parchment coloring book series.
These days the stories come first. He is making up for lost bedtimes, one book at a time.
Fifteen-year-old Conner was just a gamer, until a strange coin pulled him into a world on the brink of collapse.
Twin gods once ruled Kaelan together: Kaleb, god of life and creation, and Kora, goddess of destruction. Now Kaleb is chained, his power stolen, and Kora's darkness is spreading. Guided by the mysterious mage Aatom and armed with a relic of Kaleb's own essence, Conner must become the champion of a forgotten god, and free him before Kora's victory becomes eternal.
But in a world of spies, monsters, and ancient magic, nothing is what it seems. And the greatest threat of all may be closer than Conner ever imagined.
A YA fantasy novella of about 20,000 words, readable in one sitting. Kindle edition $2.99, also free to read with Kindle Unlimited.
